John and I met in May of '86, married March of '87, had our first child in June of '88 and moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada on Labor Day of '88. We have been back in Katy for about 8 years, and moved recently to 3 acres in the middle of old town Katy. We have country in the middle of town and love it. I quit teaching art in elementary school when our son started Jr. High, and have had the opportunity to be a stay home mom. I also paint custom art work on the side, it is great! There are lots of great memories with many of you...P.E. with Ms. Greaux sixth period, lunch bunch, and caravan to the prom to name a few! Hopefully we can share some of them at the reunion.

Cyndi (Buchanan) Smith
   - Class of 1976
Like Colleen, I bolted from Inwood about 2 days after graduation, but it took me 23 years to get back. I now live off 290 near the O'Briens. Got married in 1991, had Ravyn Hope in 1997. She will be the only child. Tim has Lou Gehrig's disease and is on life support so he won't be making any more reunions, but I will! Colleen has become not only my most special friend but my savior/angel/co-conspirator. It's been wonderful establishing a relationship after all these years. I work at a marine brokerage firm, the same thing I've been doing for 18 years. Besides Colleen, my best friends are Lady Clairol and Estee Lauder, but unfortunately you all know how old I am. Like everyone else though, my brain refuses to grow up, so the old body tries to keep pace. I'm looking forward to this get-together. We have some special things planned!

Mike Jennings
   - Class of 1976
Long overdue update- I'm blessed to have 5 children (ages 11 - 31, 3 girls, 2 boys). I was fortunate to have adopted 3 of the 5. (Ahead of Angie Jolie on that one). First marriage ended in divorce after 15 years and I'm now married 8 years on the second effort. I don't recommend taking the 26 year plan to obtain the BS degree; that's exactly what I did and graduated in 2004. I've worked in the automotive industry for 30 years, and have spent the past 10 yrs working for Mazda corp in various positions in several parts of the country. I'm now back in California and loving it.

I am still alive though I swore I would never see 30. However I was wrong, Now at 43 I am still trying to live like I was 20. You name it I have tried it or am doing it. Cant get enough adreniline. However since being layed off as a dishwasher at the Mustang Ranch, I find it difficult to live on welfare. For the time being I find it suficient to pan handel at the freeway off ramp, but even this has its draw backs, someone stole my card board sign. Lucky for me they still take my blood donations and in return I get to use their computor and get a free sugar cookie.Well life has teated me well I can't complain but I wish I had been more secretive with my bar of soap at the ymca pool. They got mad at me for bathing in the pool. Well I am clean for now should last me until I get to the class reunion. Better get packed and get going it may take awhile you no people just dont seem to like transients as much as they use too. Greg Jepsen. PS can any one tell me where a mission is within walking distance. Its just not safe to sleep under the bridges any more.

I have two teenagers, Carl is 15 yrs. old and Kevin is 13 yrs. old. We have a complete set up for a band in our "semi-sound proofed" play room. We have various rock star wanna-bes performing daily. Being in a band is a way to get chicks. I can't imagine any girl being dumb enough to sit and listen to the really bad singing (voices are changing, a lot of cracking occurs), that comes out of that room but what do I know. Along with going deaf, I am also not too smart any more.

I must be more stable (or should that be "boring?") than most could have ever guessed! Since the last reunion, I still have the same job, home, wife and kids. I have a step-son that just turned 21, my daughter is 15 (we are learning about dating) and my son is 13. He is a little me, so I am now fully aware of what a pain-in-the-as_ I was at that age....and beyond! After missing the 10-yr reunion, I vowed to not miss another and hope everyone else can and will make the 25th. Dee

I am Vice President of an environmental engineering and science consulting firm here in Houston, Berg Oliver Associates, Inc. That would be regulatory compliance, not tree-hugging. I have worked in Houston, Austin, and Washington D.C. and somehow wound up five miles from where we grew up. Go Figure! I guess there really is no place like home.
Colleen O'Brien
   - Class of 1976
Boy I could really juice up this website by telling the TRUTH about Colleen's last five years, but what I really want to say is that we should all appreciate how much time and effort she's got invested in this party and jump on the bandwagon and help her out!

No, I was never married to Mark Wheatley. But, I did have the pleasure of being his sister-in-law for 10 years. We still see one another and I am happy to say he is doing great. I have been married for 13 years to a great guy, Danny. We have many 4 legged children. The 2 legged ones (chickens) have had a hard time surviving in this country we live in. We live in Tarpley which is located between Bandera and Utopia. It is truely gods country here. We take nothing for granted and enjoy life every day. We have a guest house that we rent out for weekenders. So between that and the critters, 3 dogs, 8 cats, 2 horses and 2 hand raised deer life is very busy and unpredictable. A life of adventure is a great thing.
