Hi:
I hope that you have a great time at the reunion, I won't be able to make it this time around. I have recently lost both of my parents and I'm up to my ears in dealing with all that goes with that. It has been a really tough year for me.
John and I just celebrated our 21st anniversary. Our only child, Lucas (Luke) age 18 started college this year. Luke loves college life while his mother is doing okay with "empty nest syndrome".
At our 1995 reunion I was still working for our local school district in the special education dept but have been unable to work since 1996 following a clash between my spine and a tumor. The pain brought on by the damage done to my spine still controls my day to day activities.
John and I own a small cattle ranch west of Tucumcari, NM while John still continues to work for Union Pacific Railroad (originally he worked for Southern Pacific Railroad until the sale) as a locomotive engineer.
I cannot think of my time at Eisenhower without of course thinking of my "partner in crime" Cyndi Buchanan Smith. The time the two of us dedicated to "cutting classes" and avoiding Mr. Smallwood and Mr. Ennis was never ending. I could not have done it without the help of a lot of good office aides.
Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the next reunion. If you see Cyndi (she goes by Cynthia now that we are supposed to be all grown up) give her a hug for me.
Big thanks to all those who work so hard at putting these reunions together.

Rusty Rawson - Class of 1975

I am sorry to have to send this message but I need to tell you that Rusty Rawson has passed away. I know he touched so many people in his lifetime with his sense of humor, kindness and general good guy attitude. I don't think he ever met a stranger. He was a dear, dear friend to me and I loved him.
I was trying to locate him not even that long ago and unfortunately with no success. If you have any family contact information, I would sincerely appreciate that.
God Bless!

I still have a couple motorcycles (YZ400F and a SL100). I raced amateur
Motocross consistently for over 20 years but stopped a few years ago due to our daughters health problems (Gina, Lena, and Tina are unexpected, natural, identical triplets born in 2001). We also have two boys. Carson is 12 and Patrick is 6. To try to stay sane, I ride mountain and road bicycles as often as I can.
My wife, Kathy, also raced Motocross and we work as a team in oil and gas
exploration.
